Excellent Gaelscoil na Bóinne (Trim) Runners-Up in Section B Boys

Gaelscoil na Bóinne came through a tough Boys Section B to qualify for the Meaths finals of the competition. They came top of Group 2 with four wins, scoring 22 goals along the way and playing some great football. While they were impressive coming forward they were also strong at the back with David Ó Curráin pulling off a string of fine saves while Conor Ó hÍr and Sam Ó Cinnéide marshalled the defence excellently throughout. James Ó Foghlú impressed in midfield and with David Ó Baoill upfront they formed a potent attacking partnership. There was also a great contribution from the Gaelscoil bench, with Lee Mac Íomhair scoring important goals and Evan Mac Gabhann and Dylan Mac Gabhann also making valuable contributions in defence and attack. After topping the group they made their way to the playoffs where a win would see them through to the Meath finals. They took on a talented team in Gaelscoil Thulach na nÓg where they eventually came out on top with important contributions from their bench again helping to seal the victory.
