                                MEATH WINNERS PLAY HALF-TIME AT UNITED PARK                      

Playing at Half-Time of Drogheda United v Derry City on 1st May 2009 were FAI Schools Meath winners Athboy( white) and Moynalty (red) pictured with Eoghan Osbourne (Ireland U-17s and Drogheda United).The teams played out an entertaining 0-0 draw in front of a large crowd. On Friday 15th May Kentstown girls(Meath Winners Section A) will challenge the Louth Winners (Scoil Mhuire Jenkinstown) at the half-time of Drogheda Utd v Dundalk at United Park .

All-Ireland Finals Wed. 7th June 2006,MDL,Navan. St.Joseph's(Boys) Dundalk win Louth's first FAI Schools All-Ireland title while their girls' team are runners up. Bohola (Mayo) do double as boys & girls win National titles. Other winners are St.Mary's Boys Virginia (Cavan) & Holy Family Girls, Ennis (Co.Clare). 3000 AT U-21 IRISH GAME IN DROGHEDA The allocation of 1000 free tickets from FAI to schools and clubs in Louth & Meath for Ireland's u-21 game v Sweden  was completely snapped up! The freezing temps(-2C) did not deter the magnificent turnout. Many thanks to teachers,pupils & parents who helped ensure a great atmosphere on the first night of Ireland's 2 great wins over Sweden.

21st June 2005 Bus Crash Victims remembered Ireland Youths manager Seán McCaffrey along with FAI's Tom Mohan & Paul Smyth joined with Meath GAA team's Trevor Giles,Ollie Murphy & David Crimmins in a unique coaching session for Yellow Furze, Rathbeggan, Loreto Navan & Gaelscoil na Ríthe. Event featured on RTE TV's News2day & Meath Chronicle.
ALL-IRELAND FINALS 2005 Well done to three Leinster schools ,Rathbeggan (Meath) St.Anne's (Shankill,Co.Dublin),Poulfur (Co.Wexford) for winning three of the five All-Ireland titles at the MDL grounds,Navan on June 14th 2005! Click here for reports

The North Leinster Finals  Winners from Louth, Meath and Westmeath  battled it out at Albion Rovers F.C. Wilkinstown, Culmullen,Rathbeggan, Duleek (all Meath) and St.Coleman's Mullingar (Westmeath) advanced to Leinster Finals.
