Competition Format & FAI Schools Rules
**All Weather Pitches Rules.....8 mins a side....NO OFFSIDE.....No corners....Throws only if ball goes over fence.....
Number of teams per group must not exceed five (5)
TWO points shall be awarded for a win, ONE point for a draw and no points for a loss
In the event of two teams being tied on points, the following criteria shall be applied:
1.Result of game between the sides
2.Goal Difference
3.Goals Scored
4.Goals conceded
If still tied, teams shall play a maximum of 5 minutes per half, ‘golden goal’ rule to apply (i.e. first team to score wins). If at the end of extra time, teams are still tied a penalty shoot out will take place with three kicks per team to apply. If still tied, sudden death penalties to apply.
If more than two teams are tied then the competition shall be decided as follows
- Goal difference
- Goals scored
- Goals conceded
If still tied a round robin penalty shoot-out shall take place. Three kicks each, with sudden death penalties to be used if still tied. At the end, the top two teams will take part in a further penalty shoot-out to decide the winner.

1.After you pass sign approaching Navan you pass first set of High Traffic Lights. You cross bridge over River Boyne >>>>>>> Watch out for our FAI sign on left side. Be ready to take first left just before Pub/Restaurant (The OLD BRIDGE INN)
2.Up hill for 200 m take first right turn>>>>>Drive on country road for about 2 KM to bring you onto the main road.>>>TAKE LEFT AT JUNCTION
3.MDL Grounds are about 500 m on left.

Take Road for Navan>>>>>Continue on this road for 5/6 miles >>>MDL grounds are on right side.Watch out for sign outside grounds.
